FreeBSD, my /usr has no more space to compile ports

If your /usr is too small, you cannot compile certain ports. e.g. the giant OpenOffice port.

It's easy to fix. You can add this to your /etc/make.conf

WRKDIRPREFIX=/another/place/to/compile

that means you can also mount an external hard drive for you to compile your favourite ports.
