A really great article about open source. Usually people focus too much on the commercial perspective of open source. But open source is about individual how to realize some ideas. The ideas is usually to make something better. If more than one people have the same ideas, they can collaborate. If they don't, they just create their own path. However, try not to think this as competition. Or even healthy competition. Each road has no end, each path leaves a trail of lesson, and they all make the world better over time. Nothing can stop you to implement your idea. No organization or government is on the top of you.
